Rev. Henry Pullum, a Joplin resident and area minister, has been a fixture at Southern sporting events since the school was a junior college in 1967. Over the years, he has counseled numerous MSSU student-athletes, including two Hall of Famers who are now ministers themselves, Willie Williams and Robert Davis.

Pullum has seen his share of highlights during his 37 years of following the Lions.

What stands out the most?
At the top, he lists the 2000 men's basketball final four season, watching Rod Smith's record-breaking college football career and cheering on the great MSSU baseball and softball teams of the 1980s and 90s.
