Amanda Wolf- Assistant Athletic Trainer
With nearly 29 years of athletic training experience, Amanda Wolf is in her 19th year as assistant athletic trainer at Missouri Southern State University. Wolf is the contact for all insurance and medical bill questions for the student-athletes at Southern.
A certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Wolf came to the Lions after two years as the head athletic trainer at McPherson (Kan.) College. There, she worked with 14 activities at the NAIA Division II institution and taught courses in the physical education department. Wolf previously worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Fort Hays (Kan.) State University, where she assisted with 16 NCAA Division II activities.
Wolf, a native of Nevada, Mo., graduated from Missouri Southern in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in health promotion & wellness. While a student at MSSU, Wolf served as a student athletic trainer under former head trainer Marty Conklin and helped with 17 Southern sports and activities.
She earned her master's degree in health, physical education and recreation, with an emphasis in exercise science and sports administration, from Fort Hays State in 2002.
Wolf and her husband, Kyle, have three daughters, Ava Grace, Leah and Mya. The couple currently reside in Webb City.
