Missouri Southern State University is committed to excellence in the classroom, on the playing field, and in the community. As part of this commitment, the Department of Athletics remains dedicated to cultivating an environment of compliance with NCAA, MIAA, and University rules. This responsibility extends not only to the members of the athletic staff but to the student athletes, boosters, supporters, student body, parents, prospective student-athletes, and the community at large. Any NCAA, MIAA, or University rules compliance issues should be referred to MSSU's Department of Compliance.

NAME, IMAGE AND LIKENESS INFORMATION

• NIL Policy, available  here.
• Individuals must report NIL activities consistent with state law and/or institutional requirements
• Use of an agent is permissible for NIL activity, but not for marketing his or her athletics ability or reputation in a sport for the purpose of securing an opportunity as a professional athlete.
• You MUST inform compliance office through a disclosure form on ARMS before entering into an agreement or receiving compensation for your NIL
• You CANNOT engage in activities that conflicts with NCAA legislation, such as sports wagering and banned substances
• You CANNOT sell your memorabilia—awards, apparel, or equipment provided by MSSU
• You CANNOT use MSSU's intellectual property—logos, trademarks, team apparel or uniforms
• You CANNOT use MSSU's facilities
