Andrea (Clarke) Keene is already part of one of the two teams that are in the MSSU Athletics Hall of Fame. She pitched the 1992 Missouri Southern softball team to the NCAA Division II Championship and that team entered the Hall of Fame in 2002.
Keene was a two-time All-America pitcher and a four-time All-MIAA selection. In 1992, she posted a 31-2 record and was named MIAA Most Valuable Player while leading Southern to the national title.

Keene pitched three no-hitters during her Lion career and held 10 MSSU records at the time of her induction, including the season (17) and career (40) marks for shutouts. Her 31 wins and .939 winning percentage in 1992 was not only a Southern record, but also an MIAA mark.

Keene also held Southern career records for appearances (123), starts (102), complete games (92), and innings pitched (701 2/3) and victories (89). She ranked third on the Lions career strikeouts list (271) and in saves (6). She also owned MSSU single-season marks for winning percentage, wins and shutouts.

Keene, who currently resides in Pinckneyville, Ill., was an all-region selection in 1992, ‘94 and ‘95.
