Baker, who played defensive back at Southern from 1980-83, still holds three interception records: single game (4 vs. Central Missouri, Sept. 10, 1983); season, 12 in 1983; and career, 26.

The 6-foot, 185-pound safety from Mascoutah, Ill., was Missouri Southern’s fourth first-team All-American, earning that honor in 1983 after concluding his record-shattering career.
