Biography

Prior to Southern:
Ty Horton is a linebacker and tight end from St. Louis, Missouri, who attended St. Mary’s High School. He was a three-year varsity starter and helped his team win back-to-back state championships in 2022 and 2023. Horton earned All-Conference First Team, All-District First Team, and All-State honors in both 2022 and 2023. He was also named to the State Championship All-Tournament Team. In the classroom, he was a two-time Renaissance Scholar. He also competed in track during his high school career.
 
Personal:
Ty, the son of Ashley Carr, and supported by Lavell McCloud and Justice Andrews, plans to pursue a degree in Business at Southern.
