Biography

Prior to Southern:
Gavin Walker is an edge rusher from Jackson, Tennessee, attending Jackson Christian School. Over the course of his two-year career as a starter, he totaled 120 tackles and 14 sacks. In 2024, he earned First-Team All-Region and All-State honors, after being named to the All-Region Second Team in 2023. Outside of football, he also competed in track and field.
 
Personal:
Gavin, the son of Gail and Ray Walker, plans to pursue a degree in Computer Science at Southern.
