McIntire prepped at Archie R-V High School for coach Drew Smith ... Was also involved in the Whirlwinds basketball, baseball and track programs ... Finished his football career with 5,183 rushing yards, 110 rushing touchdowns, 3,696 passing yards, 77 passing touchdowns, 263 tackles and five interceptions as a quarterback and linebacker ... Was a three-time First Team All-Conference and First Team All-District selection ... Named Conference Player of the Year as a junior and senior ... Earned All-State honors as a junior and senior ... Was named the 2023 Missouri 8-Man Offensive Player of the Year ... Helped Archie R-V win the 2023 8-Man State Championship ... Also earned varsity letters in basketball (guard), baseball (pitcher and center fielder) and track & field (Pole Vault, High Jump, Triple Jump, 4x100) ... Academically was Archie R-V HS's Valedictorian.

Briar is the son of Matt and Dana McIntire and plans to major in industrial engineering technology at Southern.
