Prior to Southern
Deen, an Imperial, Missouri, native, heads to Missouri Southern after earning all-district and all-conference honors as both a junior and a senior at St. John Vianney High School. The three-year starter racked up 6,157 yards, 56 passing touchdowns, 599 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns over his career as a Golden Griffin. He also earned academic all-state honors and Homecoming MVP his final two high school seasons. As a senior at St. John Vianney HS, Deen threw for 2,596 yards with 24 touchdowns to go with 310 yards on the ground and four rushing touchdowns. He also had 2,333 passing yards over his junior campaign with 24 touchdowns. Deen set a new school record of 532 passing yards and six touchdowns against De Smet Jesuit on Sept. 26, 2025.
