Biography

Prior to Southern
Wright transferred to Southern from Marion Military Institute in 2024. During his sophomore season in 2023-24, he averaged a double-double with 13.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game across 29 contests, shooting 56.3% from the field. Wright recorded a double-double in 17 games, including eight consecutive performances. He was named All-ACCC Second Team, finishing 1st in the ACCC in offensive rebounds per game, 2nd in total rebounds and blocks (1.7), and 5th in field goal percentage. His 4.2 offensive rebounds per game ranked 6th nationally, and he was 11th in the country in total rebounds per game.
