Biography

Prior to Southern
Taylor played two seasons at Southwest Tennessee Community College, starting 30 of 32 games in 2023-24. He averaged 17.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game, earning Tennessee Community College Athletic Association Second Team honors. With 210 assists, he ranked in the top 10 all-time for the Saluqis. Taylor scored in double digits in every game and recorded six double-doubles (points and assists). He excelled in the postseason, averaging 22.0 points and 10.3 assists per game in the TCCAA/NJCAA Region VII Tournament, including a career-high 27 points and 13 assists in a quarterfinal win over Roane State Community College.
