Biography

2016 - Played and started in all 17 matches on defense for the Lions...one of eight players to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll (3.817 GPA). 

2015 - Appearned in 16 matches for Southern with 8 starts...recorded two assists on the season, first assist came off a corner kick in the 5-1 loss to Northeastern State on Sept. 19...second assist came on the Lions' first goal in the 2-2 tie with Emporia State on Oct. 17.

2014 - Made one appearance for the Lions in a 0-1 defeat to Central Oklahoma.

Prior to Southern - Brooke comes to Southern from Sand Springs, Oklahoma where she attended Charles Page High School. Ishmael was a three-year letter winner at defender for the Sandites and head coach Caleb Horton earning defensive MVP at CPHS for three years. She was also named academic all-conference and honorable mention All-District for two years each. Ishmael was also named the Wendy's High School Heisman Winner for Charles Page High School and played six years for club team TSC Hurricane and coach Dave Bolding.

Personal - Brooke is the sister of former Lion Hannah Ishmael and the daughter of Tony and Rebecca Ishmael.
