Kansas City, Mo. -- Jasmine Deckard has been named the MIAA Female Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office today. 

Deckard, a sophomore from Little Elm, Texas, won both the 60m and 200m dash this past weekend at the MSSU Lion Open and Multis in Joplin. Deckard was .01 off of her school record in the 60m dash during the prelims and won the finals with an NCAA Provisional Qualifying Mark of 7.63.

Both those marks are in the top three all time in the history of the 60m dash at MSSU. She then went on to win the 200m dash with an NCAA provisional time of 24.80.

Deckard and the Lions are in action this Friday and Saturday at Pittsburg State.
