Norman, Okla. -- Darion Boure broke his own school record as the Missouri Southern men's track and field team competed both at the Oklahoma Baptist Invite and the Tyson Invitational this weekend. 

Boure improved on his school record by six inches when he picked up a provisional distance and won the event with a distance of 50-03.75. That mark ranks third nationally and gives the Lions two top 11 marks in the event this year. Kennan Harrison, the other top 11 mark, finished fourth in the event with a distance of 46-05.25. 

Erron Holley won the 200m dash with a provisional time of 22.12. That mark, when converted for a banked track, moves to 21.73 and ranks 20th nationally. Desmond Williams finished seventh in the event. 

In other action, Holley placed 11th in the 60m dash, while Anthony Price was seventh in the 400m. Sam Kohrs, Tavion Jones and Thomas Hankins placed second, third and fourth in the 600m, while the 4x440 yard relay team of the same trio and Price placed second in a time of 3:22.43. 

Williams placed third in the long jump with a distance of 22-07, while Jacob Rowe was sixth. Tyler Hovey was fifth in the shot put, while Bryan Burns placed third in the weight throw with a distance of 53-05.00. Nicklas Polizzi was eighth in the event, while Hovey placed 14th. 

At the University of Arkansas, Jeff Fraley raced in both the 60m and the 400m. In the 60m, he picked up an automatic qualifying mark of 6.73 in the finals of the event, placing 12th overall. In the 400m, he placed 39th in a time of 48.03. 

The Lions will be back in action next Friday when Southern travels to Lincoln, Neb. for the Nebraska Tune up.
