EMPORIA, Kan. / ST. LOUIS – Missouri Southern Track & Field delivered a strong Friday at the Emporia State Spring Open and Wash U Distance Carnival, combining for multiple event wins, NCAA qualifying marks, and personal records.

Event titles came from Allyssa Mahone (discus), Adrianne Casey (javelin), and Cedric Pearson (shot put), all with NCAA marks. Casey and Keilee Johnson added a 1-2 finish in the javelin, while Dailynn VanDeren contributed a runner-up finish in the shot put and a third-place NCAA mark in the hammer. In the men's hammer, Gabe Ford and Isaiah Waller posted personal bests and NCAA marks.

The distance crew saw multiple PRs at Wash U, led by Abbey Brackenbury (3rd) and Lilah Genel (7th). Caleb Leach added a PR on the men's side.

The Lions continue to build momentum with a balanced performance of wins, qualifiers, and personal bests.
