ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri Southern Track & Field opened competition at the Miner Invitational on Friday at Allgood-Bailey Stadium with a pair of top-three finishes in the hammer throw.
On the men's side,
Erick Marchan delivered a standout performance, placing third with a personal-best throw of 57.63 meters. His mark also meets the NCAA qualifying standard, adding to an impressive start to the outdoor season.
In the women's hammer throw,
Aubrey Skinner also earned a third-place finish, recording a throw of 48.61 meters to land on the podium.
The Lions will continue competition at the Miner Invitational on Saturday.
