2014 - Saunders saw action in ten games this season... Finished with 459 yards on 94 carries (4.9 yards per carry) and seven touchdowns... Caught two passes for 28 yards and a touchdown... Set a season high in rushing with 103 yards on 12 carries, one reception for 20 yards, and three total touchdowns (2 rushing, one receiving)... Finished ninth in the MIAA for touchdowns scored with eight... Received All-MIAA Honorable Mention.

Prior to Southern - Saunders comes to Southern after a highly-successful senior season at Westover High School that saw him rush for 1,794 yards (7.84 per carry), 85.4 per game and 15 touchdowns in his career … A three-year varsity letter winner, Saunders rushed for 1,026 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior as he averaged 6.98 per carry and 93.3 yards per game … As a junior, he rushed for an average of 11.17 per carry and 78.2 per game, while he put up an average of 8.2 per carry and 75.4 per game as a sophomore.
