Lawrence prepped at College Heights Christian School, where she competed in sprints for the Cougars. Her personal bests include 12.4 seconds in the 100-meter dash, 25.3 seconds in the 200-meter dash, and 57.5 seconds in the 400-meter dash. Throughout her time at College Heights, Lawrence earned 12 All-State honors in various sprint events.
