WARRENSBURG, Mo. — Missouri Southern recorded multiple standout performances Thursday at the UCM Mule Relays, highlighted by two event wins and several NCAA qualifying marks.
Dailynn VanDeren won the women's hammer throw (57.33m), while Lilah Genel took first in the 5000m invite (17:16.85). O
n the men's side, Gabe Ford (3rd), Isaiah Waller (4th), and Tyson Williams (6th) all hit NCAA qualifying marks in the hammer throw with personal-best efforts.
Briar Gillum added a third-place finish and qualifying mark in the women's hammer, while Caleb Leach posted a personal best in the 1500m (3:57.00) to place sixth.
The Lions will continue competition this weekend at the Bryan Phillips Invitational at Harding University.
