FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Missouri Southern delivered a strong showing Friday at the John McDonnell Invitational, highlighted by multiple NCAA qualifying marks, event wins, and personal records.

On the track, the men's 4x100m relay placed seventh with a 40.49, moving to No. 2 all-time in program history with an NCAA mark. Phillip Jefferson led the way with a runner-up finish in the 400m hurdles (51.73), while Aryah Moore (100m hurdles) and Morgan Pork (400m) also hit NCAA standards.

The Lions dominated the throws, sweeping both discus titles behind Briar Gillum and Jamale Williams, while adding multiple qualifying marks in shot put led by Dailynn VanDeren and Williams.

Missouri Southern finished the day with standout performances across the board, continuing its momentum heading into the postseason.
