ROGERS, Ark. — Missouri Southern finished sixth out of 17 teams Tuesday at the Men's Shadow Valley Invitational, hosted by the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith at Shadow Valley Country Club (par 72).

Maxwell Templeman led the charge for the Lions, finishing tied for 11th at +4 overall after rounds of 74 (+2), 72 (E) and 74 (+2). Zach Gardner posted the team's low round of the final day with a 73 (+1) to finish 22nd at +9. Connor Goens placed 16th at +6 following a 75 (+3) in the final round after opening the event with a 70 (-2). Britten Coy carded a 77 (+5) on Tuesday to finish 71st at +20, while Tucker Ford matched that 77 (+5) to place 85th at +27.

The Lions will return to action March 30 at the Silverback Classic hosted by Pittsburg State University.
