Gardner competed in 21 rounds for the lions, playing in seven events ... Had a stroke average of 75.0 and a low round of 69 and finished tied for 16th individually at the MSSU Men's Fall Invitational ... MIAA Regular Season and Tournament Champion.

Prior to Southern  
Gardner is a native of Fayetteville, Ark. Where he prepped at Fayetteville High School for coach Scott Williams and the Bulldogs. A four-year letter winner, Gardner helped lead his team to the 2022 Arkansas Class 6A State Championship where he placed fifth individually. Gardner was a two-time All-Conference and All-State selection at FHS where he posted a career-low round of 67 (-5).
