JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Missouri Southern continued play at the MIAA Championship at the Jefferson City Country Club with a solid second-round effort, led by Max Templeman.
Templeman finished the day at +6 (74), putting together a strong 33 on the front nine before closing with a 41 to lead the Lions.
Connor Goens followed with a +11 (76), carding consistent rounds of 38 and 38, while Britt Coy added a +10 (78) with a steady performance throughout the day.
Owen Derryberry finished at +12 (79), highlighted by a 38 on his second round, and Zachary Gardner rounded out the lineup at +12 (81).
The Lions battled through day two of competition and will look to finish strong as the tournament continues.
