JOPLIN, Mo. — Missouri Southern men's golf hosted the Missouri Southern Men's Fall Invitational at Twin Hills Golf Country Club on Monday, Oct. 19, competing in two rounds of play.

Jones Vrska led the Lions in the opening round, shooting a 67 (-5) to pace the team to a 295 (+7). Maxwell Templeman and Zach Gardner each carded a 75 (+3), while Britten Coy and Ethan Small finished with rounds of 80 (+8).

In the second round, the Lions improved to a team score of 289 (+1). Templeman led the way with a 71 (-1), followed by Gardner at 72 (E). Vrska and Small each shot a 73 (+1), while Coy finished with a 74 (+2).

Missouri Southern's B team opened with a 294 (+6), led by Owen Derryberry and Samuel Patterson, who each shot an even-par 72. Thomas Walker carded a 74 (+2), and Connor Goens added a 76 (+4).

The B team finished the second round with a 309 (+11). Patterson and Goens led the group with matching 76s (+4), followed by Derryberry at 77 (+5) and Walker at 80 (+8).

The invitational concludes Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Twin Hills Golf Country Club.
