Strong Final Round Highlights Lions' Effort at Battle for the Belt

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Missouri Southern Men's golf wrapped up its second tournament of the fall season with a 7th-place finish at the Battle for the Belt, hosted Monday and Tuesday at Hot Springs Country Club. The Lions posted a team total of +21 across three rounds, highlighted by a strong -1 effort in the third round on Tuesday.

Competing as an individual, Carson Wampler recorded the top finish among Lions golfers, shooting -1 over the two days to earn a tie for ninth place.

Zach Gardner finished at even par to tie for 13th overall.
