Jefferson City, Mo. - The Missouri Southern men's golf team wrapped up the competition at the MIAA Championship from the Jefferson City Country Club, and finished tied for 5th place with a team score of 878.
 
Britt Coy led the Lions with a tie for 8th place, shooting rounds of 75, 70, and 70 for a total of 215. He recorded 5 birdies and an eagle over the tournament.
 
Ben Marckmann tied for 20th with scores of 72, 75, and 72, finishing at 219. He tallied 6 birdies.
 
Blake Heimburger tied for 22nd, carding rounds of 73, 76, and 71 for a total of 220. He led the team with 12 birdies.
 
Max Templeman tied for 42nd, opening with a 69 before shooting 81 and 76 to finish at 226. He made 8 birdies.
 
Zach Gardner tied for 54th with rounds of 77, 79, and 76 for a total of 232, contributing 4 birdies.
 
Carson Stookey, competing as an individual, finished 63rd. He bounced back from a 90 in the first round with scores of 82 and 73 to post a total of 245. He also recorded 4 birdies.
