PITTSBURG, Kan. — Missouri Southern wrapped up play at the Tommy Riggs Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday at Crestwood Country Club, highlighted by a strong final round performance led by Sam Patterson.

Patterson paced the Lions on the final day with a 75 (+3), marking one of the team's best rounds of the tournament. Zachary Gardner followed with a 76 (+4), while Max Templeman and Connor Goens each carded rounds of 77 (+5). Britten Coy rounded out the team scoring with a 78 (+6).

Coy finished as Southern's top individual, placing 28th overall at +15 after consistent play across all three rounds. Templeman placed 43rd (+18), followed by Gardner in 48th (+19), Patterson in 53rd (+21), and Goens in 64th (+24).

Competing individually, Colby Shadwick closed with a 79 (+7) to finish 91st overall (+34), while Tucker Ford withdrew during the final round after posting rounds of 76 (+4) and 81 (+9) on Monday.

The Lions showed improvement in the final round, turning in some of their lowest scores of the tournament to close out the two-day event in Pittsburg.
