Claremore, Okla. –The Missouri Southern Softball team takes on the Rogers State University Hillcats in a conference matchup. In game one, the Hillcats got on the board first, and the Lions took the lead in the sixth inning. Rogers State evened the score and took the win in the ninth inning. In game two, the Lions closed the gap in the fourth, and both teams remained scoreless for a final of 3-2.

The Hillcats broke the deadlock to lead 1–0 in the third inning.
Missouri Southern found momentum in the sixth inning.
Bailey Dillon started with a single, followed by another single from
Kylee Jacks.
Cady Dickey walked on bases-loaded, bringing in the first run for Missouri Southern. A crucial single by
Carsen Tinkler drove in two more runs, pushing Missouri Southern into the lead, 3–1. Rogers State responded at the bottom of the sixth to even score 3-3.
In the bottom of the ninth, the Hillcats added a run to end the game 4-3.
Carsen Tinkler recorded two hits, including a double, and drove in one run while posting four assists in the field.
Bailey Dillon added a hit, including a double.
Cady Dickey added an RBI from a bases-loaded walk. The Lions tallied six hits.
Kiki Pickens pitched a complete game for Missouri Southern, going 8.2 innings while striking out four and facing 43 batters.
