Hays, Kan. – The Missouri Southern baseball team traveled to Fort Hays State University for the final game of their series. Fort Hays got on the board first, but Southern narrowed the gap to two runs. However, the Tigers added to their lead and held on for the 13-2 win in eight innings.

The Tigers took an early lead in the first inning, going up 2-0. Fort Hays extended their advantage in the fourth inning, increasing the score to 4-0.
In the fifth inning, Missouri Southern responded with two runs, an RBI single from
Ethan Clark and a sacrifice fly by
Jacob Filip, bringing the score to 4-2.
The Tigers scored nine runs in the eighth inning and ended the game 13-2.
Brayden Luikart went 3-for-3, adding a hit by pitch to his tally.
Ethan Clark contributed with one hit and one RBI, while
Jacob Filip also added a hit and an RBI. The Lions finished with eight hits overall.
Keaton Anderson pitched 3.1 innings, recording one strikeout.
Laif Hultine followed with 4.0 innings pitched, striking out six batters while facing 16.
Caden Carter pitched 0.1 innings, facing three batters and striking out one.
