2023 Season
Mieszkowski completed one of the best hitting seasons in Lions history while appearing in and starting in all 62 games the Lions played in at second base ... Finished the season with a .374 average, 265 at-bats, 81 runs scored, 99 hits, 19 doubles, four triples, 14 home runs, 66 RBIs, 34 walks, nine HBPs, four sacrifice flys, one sacrifice hits, 11 stolen bases in 13 attempts, 95 putouts, 138 assists and helped turn 33 double plays ... Mieszkowski finished with a .634 slugging and .455 on-base percentage for a 1.089 OPS.
2022 Season
Mieszkowski appeared in 49 games getting the start in 46 primarily as a shortstop but able to play across the infield ... Finished the season with a .328 average, 189 at bats, 48 runs, 62 hits, 13 doubles, three triples, five home runs, 21 RBIs, slugged .508 and had a .409 on base percentage while stealing six bases and recording 54 putouts and 93 assists.
Prior to Southern
Mieszkowski prepped at Grayslake Central High School, where he was a three-year letter winner for the Rams under coach Troy Whalen. As a shortstop, he finished his career with a .461 batting average, 41 home runs, 57 RBIs, 57 runs scored, and 24 stolen bases. An All-Conference and All-State 3A selection, he was also named 3A Player of the Year. Mieszkowski helped lead the Rams to two regional championships, a conference championship, and a sectional championship.

Nate, the son of Joe Mieszkowski, is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology at Southern.
