JOPLIN, Mo. — Three members of the Missouri Southern volleyball team have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team:
Hannah Allick,
Hanna Lauterbach, and
Alana Moesch. The trio earned the honor for their outstanding academic success paired with key contributions on the court.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes women's volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Hanna Lauterbach
Junior | Morris, Ill. | Radiologic Technology | 3.595 GPA
Lauterbach continued to grow her impact at the net in 2025, competing in 88 sets across 26 matches (23 starts) while posting 60 kills and adding 45 total blocks, including eight solo. She delivered a season-high seven kills and eight points against Newman on Oct. 10.
Hannah Allick
Senior | Waverly, Neb. | Art Education | 3.762 GPA
Allick surpassed 1,000 career assists (1,411) in 2025, finishing the season with a team-high 548 assists, 34 aces, and 186 digs.
She notched a season-high 33 assists and nine digs in a five-set win over Pittsburg State (10/11). Allick added 107 assists in 2024 and posted a career-best 664 assists in 2023, after opening her career with 112 assists in 2022, while earning multiple MIAA Academic Honor Roll honors along the way.
Alana Moesch
Graduate Student | Lajeado, Brazil | Master in Sport and Recreation Management | 4.00 GPA | Bachelor's in Exercise Science | 3.902 GPA
Moesch surpassed 1,000 career kills in 2025, earning All-MIAA Second Team honors after she paced the Lions and the MIAA with a career-best 370 kills (3.70 kills/set) and 423.5 points (4.24 points/set) as she started in all 100 sets over 28 matches.
She added a personal-high 239 digs (2.39 digs/set), which ranked second on MSSU this season. In MIAA play, Moesch tallied 229 kills (4.02 kills/set) with 149 digs (2.61 digs/set).
She registered a season-best 22 kills against Missouri Western and had double-digit kills in all but seven matches this season.
The CSC Academic All-District honor is her second-straight after also earning the laurel in 2024.
Moesch finished her Lions' career with 814 kills and 455 digs.
