JOPLIN, Mo. – Missouri Southern volleyball announced Monday its 2026 fall schedule. The Lions will compete in 26 total matches, including 11 non-conference contests and 15 MIAA matchups.

MSSU will host 11 home matches at the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center, beginning with the Southern Invite on Aug. 27-29. The Lions will welcome Southeastern Oklahoma State, Missouri S&T, Northwestern Oklahoma State and Southwest Baptist during the opening weekend tournament.

Missouri Southern continues non-conference action at the Gorilla Classic hosted by Pittsburg State on Sept. 2-4, where the Lions will face Southwestern Oklahoma State, Arkansas Tech, William Jewell and Truman State.

The Lions wrap up non-conference play at Harding on Sept. 11-12 against Southern Arkansas, Union and Harding.

MSSU opens MIAA action on the road Sept. 18-19 against Northeastern State and Arkansas-Fort Smith before continuing conference play at Central Oklahoma and Newman on Sept. 24-25.

The Lions open their home conference slate on Oct. 2-3 against Northwest Missouri State and Missouri Western. Missouri Southern will also host Arkansas-Fort Smith and Central Oklahoma during an in-season tournament on Oct. 14-16.

Additional home conference matches include Emporia State (Oct. 23), Pittsburg State (Oct. 24), Central Missouri (Oct. 27) and Washburn (Oct. 31).

Road conference contests for the Lions include trips to Central Missouri (Oct. 9), Nebraska Kearney (Nov. 6) and Fort Hays State (Nov. 7).

The 2026 MIAA Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 12-15 at the St. Joseph Civic Arena in St. Joseph, Missouri.
