KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Missouri Southern's Britten Coy has been named the Co-MIAA Men's Golf Athlete of the Week after a stellar performance at the UCO Skip Wagnon Invitational, held in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Coy led the Lions with an outstanding final round, firing a 6-under par to finish 9-under for the tournament and claim a tie for third place individually. His strong play helped guide Missouri Southern to a third-place team finish out of 18 programs competing on the par-70, 6,964-yard layout at Kicking Bird Golf Club.

Next up, the Lions will host their own Missouri Southern Fall Invitational, set for Oct. 20–21 at the Shangri-La Resort in Monkey Island, Okla.
