AFTON, Okla. — The Missouri Southern men's golf team showcased steady and competitive play at the Missouri Southern Fall Invitational held October 20-21 at Shangri-La Golf Club on Monkey Island. Over three rounds, the Lions demonstrated solid performances with several players improving their scores as the tournament progressed.

Owen Derryberry led the team in the opening round with a 76 (+4), followed closely by Zach Gardner and Dylan Bagley, who each shot 79 (+7). Britten Coy and Carson Wampler finished the first day at 80 (+8). 

In round two, Gardner surged with an impressive even-par 72, while Wampler stayed consistent at 73 (+1). Coy posted a 74 (+2), and Derryberry added a 77 (+4). Bagley completed the round with an 80 (+8).

The final round saw Coy lead the Lions with a 74 (+2), with Bagley and Wampler following closely at 75 (+3) and 76 (+4), respectively. Gardner and Derryberry each recorded 77 (+4) to close out the tournament.

Independent competitors Connor Goens, Thomas Walker, and Fielding Campbell also participated, maintaining steady performances throughout the invitational.
