SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Missouri Southern Men's Golf completed day one of the Men's Rattler Invitational on Monday at Dominion Country Club, a par-72 course, hosted by St. Mary's University.
Britten Coy led the Lions through 36 holes, posting rounds of 76 (+4) and 75 (+3) to sit at +7 overall. Coy's steady second round featured a 36 on the back nine, helping him shave a stroke off his morning score.
Max Templeman sits at +9 after rounds of 77 (+5) and 76 (+4), while Zachary Gardner is close behind at +10 with scores of 78 (+6) and 76 (+4).
Carson Wampler carded rounds of 81 (+9) and 79 (+7) to finish the day at +16, and Connor Goens rebounded in round two with a 77 (+5) after his opening round to sit at +17 overall.
Competing as an individual, Tucker Ford opened with a 76 (+4) and followed with an 82 (+10), placing him at +14 through two rounds.
With 36 holes complete, the Lions will look to make a strong push up the leaderboard in Tuesday's final round in San Antonio.
