Tradgon McCrae has been named the MIAA Men's Golfer of the Week for Week One of spring as announced by the league office today. This is the fourth time he has been distinguished with the honor in his career.
McCrae, a senior from Plainville, Kan., took home the individual title with a three round even par 210 total score, helping Missouri Southern to finish on top at the Hardscrabble Invitational at Hardscrabble Country Club this week. This is his first individual championship this season, having won two events prior in his career. McCrae had three birdies in the final 18 holes and had 11 birdies and an eagle over the course of 54 holes.
This is McCrae's first time being named MIAA Men's Golfer of the week since October 12, 2022 where he had won his third award of the 2022-23 season and career. McCrae currently leads the Lions with an average round of 71.1 shots and has the lowest round of the season with a 64 at the Holiday Inn Express Invitational in October 2023.
