St. Joseph, Mo. - The Missouri Southern men's golf team completed day two at the Holiday Inn Express Invitational. After competing in three rounds at St. Joseph Country Club, which holds a par of 71, the Lions finished 17th with a total score of 907.
Josh Hamnett climbed the leaderboard on the final day to finish tied for 40th with a total score of 222 (+9).
Zach Gardner tied for 58th at the Invitational in his second event of the season with a total score of 225 (+12).
Blake Heimburger shot a total score of 230 (+17) to finish 80th individually.
Connor Goens finished with a total score of 236 (+23) to finish 92nd.
Ben Marckmann would finish tied for 97th with a total score of 239 (+26) to round out the team score.
Alexander Page competed as an individual for the Lions and tied with Marckmann, shooting a 239 (+26) and tied for 97th.
