Joplin, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern Athletic Department has announced that the scheduled MIAA volleyball matches this weekend against Missouri Western and Central Missouri have been postponed due to Covid-19 protocols within the Southern volleyball program.
 
The health and safety of our student-athletes, our coaches and staff, as well as the broader community are of the utmost importance.
 
Any announcements on rescheduling of the games will be made at a later date.
 
The Lions' next scheduled matches will be next Friday, September 23 at Pittsburg State and Saturday September 24 at home against Northwest Missouri.
