Joplin, Mo. -- Missouri Southern head volleyball coach Kalie Mader has announced the addition of Joshua Moore as an assistant coach for the Green and Gold. 

"We are so excited to have Josh join our Lion Family," Mader said. "He is an alumnus of MSSU and I'm thrilled to have him in the gym and on campus every day! Josh's knowledge and energy has already been a positive impact in our program."

Moore is a 2020 graduate of Missouri Southern with a degree in secondary english education. For the past three seasons, he served as an assistant coach and english teacher at Carl Junction High School. Moore has also coached with Club JOMO Volleyball during that time period. 

Prior to CJHS, Moore was a junior high volleyball coach in the Neosho (Mo.) School District and has also served as a staff member, coordinator and tutor with the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Missouri. 

A native of Webb City, Mo., Moore is a graduate of Webb City High School.
