The Lions (3-6) jumped out to a 1-0 lead over a receiving votes Harding (10-3) team with an Ashlynn Williams single up the middle scoring Leighton Withers. The Bisons got a run across in the first as well making it 1-1 after one complete inning.

Harding grabbed a 2-1 lead in the bottom half of the second inning and held the lead for three innings as both teams were held scoreless from the third to the fifth innings. A Kristen Wade single through the left side score Izzy Medrano to tie it up 2-2 for the Lions in the sixth inning. In the fourth inning the Lions had Ashlynn Williams hit a triple down the right field line to get into scoring position with one out before the Lady Chaps got out of the jam. Lubbock Christian scored the seventh and final run in the bottom half of the fifth inning sealing the game at 7-0.
