Joplin, Mo. – Missouri Southern golf coach Mike Wheeler has announced the addition of four new recruits to the men's and women's golf squads.
 
Julianna Washka and Iratxe Fernandez-Cano Aldasoro join the women's team, while Josh Hamnett and Dylan Bagley join the men.
 
Washka is a native of Lantana, Texas where she prepped at Guyer High School for coach Lance Brown. A four-year letter winner, Washka finished in the top ten in four of her last five tournaments this past season. She carries an average of 78, while being her team's Most Valuable Player. 

 
An AP scholar, Washka will be a pre-law major at Southern and is the daughter of Todd Washka and Elizabeth Ramirez-Washka.
 
Aldasoro is a native of Spain, where she has consistently been among the top 50 women amateur golfers in the country. She was a member of the Madrid Golf Federation Team and in the last two years, she has helped her club team win the Circuit, taking home individual medalist honors in each event.
 

The daughter of Aranzazu Aldasoro and Ramon Fernandez-Cano, she plans to major in business at Southern.
 
Hamnett is a native of Lancashire, England. He participated in golf, soccer, cricket and hockey at Rossall Independent Day and Boarding School in Lancashire.  He was coached by the school's Director of Golf Stuart Hemmings. Hamnett currently has a -2 golf handicap.

 
The son of Paul and Terri Hamnett, Josh is undecided on his future major.
 
Bagley is a native of Hastings, New Zealand where he prepped at Karamu High School. He earned gold honors where he was the Hawkes Bay High School Individual Medalist in 2019. Bagley carries a personal best of 67 and finished in third in the North Island Under 19's. He also finished in the 38^th place of the Callaway Junior World Championship in 2019, while winning the FCG Global Cup and the Maraenui Open in 2019.
 

The son of Rick and Fay Bagley, Dylan is undecided on his future major at Southern.
