MAYETTA, Kan. – Missouri Southern men's golf competed at the Firekeeper Open, hosted by Washburn University, April 5–7 at Firekeeper Golf Course.
The Lions were led by Zachary Gardner, who finished 26th overall at +6. Gardner posted consistent rounds of 72, 76, and 74 to pace Missouri Southern across the three-day event.
Britten Coy opened the tournament strong with a first-round 69 (-3), the lowest round by a Lion during the event, before finishing tied for 50th at +10. Connor Goens also tied for 50th, carding rounds of 76, 76, and 74.
Max Templeman placed 70th overall at +14, while Carson Wampler finished 74th at +15. Competing as an individual, Owen Derryberry recorded a 63rd-place finish at +12.
