Topeka, Kan. - The final round of the Washburn Invitational has been canceled due to weather.

The Lions finished the first spring tournament in sixth place out of the 14 team field with freshman Chase Rogers finishing tied for 15th with a 77 (6-over). Senior Taylor Lansford tied for 26th at 79 while junior Connor Neil finished in a tie for 34th at 80. Sophomores Tristan Haltom and Tripper Jensen finished with an 84 and 86, respectively.

Southern will be back in action next week at the Broncho Invitational hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma at Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City.
