Prior to Southern
Hudson comes to Southern after spending the last two seasons at Lenoir – Rhyne, a Division II school in the South Athletic Conference (SAC) … In 2022-23 she played in 29 games for the Bears scoring 10.0 points and 3.7 rebounds a game ... Had a season high 24 points at Francis Marion on Nov. 28 and helped the Bears to an upset of then #21 Wingate on Nov. 22 with a 23 point performance … For the season Hudson also had 33 assists and 30 blocks during the campaign … 2021-22 she was named a third-team All-SAC performer after appearing in 26 games with 21 starts for the Bears … Averaged 17.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game with a season-high 15 rebounds at UVA - Wise on Feb. 16, 2022 and had a 35 point game at home going 16-for-20 from the free throws against Coker on Jan. 22, 2022 .... For the season she also had 38 steals and 39 assists while scoring in double figures in 24-of-26 games including the last 19 games of the season … Overall at LRU she appeared in 55 games with 22 starts for 732 points, 238 rebounds, 72 assists, 68 steals and eight blocks while shooting 199-for-260 from free throws (76.5%) and 264-for-504 from the field (52.4%) … Prior to her time as a Bear she played at Kanakee Community College for two seasons (2019-21) where she was an All-NJCCA Region IV player … Overall for the Cavaliers she played in 48 games with 42 starts while scoring 857 points (17.9ppg) going 250-for-335 from free throws (74.6%) and 299-for-488 from the field (61.3%) with 307 rebounds, 78 assists, 100 steals and 24 blocks.
