2022: Competed in the MIAA Indoor Championships in the DMR helping the relay to finish fifth with a time of 10:09.12 ... Competed in three meets in the outdoor season.

Prior to Southern - McClain prepped at Blue Springs High School where he was a member of the track and field and cross country teams for coach Frank Gallick ... A four-time All-Conference selection in cross country, McClain also earned multiple All-Conference honors in track and field. 

Personal - The son of Florence and Rutledge McClain, Kevin is the younger brother of current Lion Gabe McClain ... He plans to major in Business at Southern.
