  • Competed in the MIAA Indoor Championships in the 400 meter dash and the 4x400 meter relay finishing ninth in the event in a time of 3:18.60 ... Competed in the MIAA Outdoor Championships in the 200 and 400 meter dashes along with the 4x400 meter relay ... The 4x400 meter relay team finished seventh in the event in a time of 3:15.19.
Prior to Southern
Haddock trained at Southside High School under Coach Aaron Kareus, where he was a two-time letter winner for the Mavericks. His career bests in high school were 22.4 seconds in the 200-meter dash and 50.1 seconds in the 400-meter run. He is also a conference champion and All-State honoree, having been part of the 4x400-meter relay team that won the state title.

Personal
Matthew, the son of Doug Haddock, is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice at Southern.
