- Competed in the MIAA Indoor Championships in the 60 meter hurdles finishing sixth in a time of 8.21 ... Competed at the MIAA Outdoor Championship in the 110 and 400 meter dashes.
Prior to Southern
Pigg prepped at Poplar Bluff High School under Coach Mark Barousse, where he also competed in basketball and cross country. His career bests include 14.28 in the 110-meter hurdles, 39.1 in the 300-meter hurdles, a 21' 0" long jump, and a 4x400-meter split time of 50.00. Pigg was an All-Conference selection as a sophomore and senior, and earned All-State honors in the 300-meter and 110-meter hurdles as a senior. He was a district and sectional champion in the 110-meter hurdles as both a sophomore and senior, and in the 300-meter hurdles as a senior. A four-year academic letter winner, Pigg was also a member of the National Honor Society and ranked in the top 10 percent of his class.

JaDarius, the son of Shanita and Josh Pigg, is pursuing a degree in Business at Southern.
