Prior to Southern - Hogan played at the University of Arkansas where he was a member of the 2015 team that went to the College World Series ... His season was cut short due to injury ... Prior to Arkansas, In 2014, Hogan played at McLennan Community College and earned North Texas JCAC All-Conference second team recognition. He recorded a .361 batting average with 45 RBI and stole 22 bases in 25 attempts ... As a freshman, Hogan was a member of the team at Dallas Baptist where he started six games and drove in two runs. He was a perfect 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts in 2013.

High School - A standout at Belton High School, Hogan earned all-state, all-area and all-district honors as a junior and senior. He was named the Central Texas MVP after hitting .380 with eight home runs and 50 RBI as a senior. In 2011, batted .467 with six home runs and 56 RBI.
