Prior to Southern - (At McNeese State) Hinkley played in 27 games with 13 starts at both first base and designated hitter ... He hit .200 in 50 at bats with three doubles and a .365 on base percentage.  (at Jefferson College) Spent previous two seasons at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, MO… played in 46 games as a junior and finished with a .338 batting clip… recorded 44 hits, 13 doubles, two home runs, 35 RBIs and one stolen base… team finished with a 36-15 record as he was named to the 2015 All-Region team.
 
High School: Prepped at Liberty HS where he lettered three years in baseball and served one as the varsity captain… also lettered one year in football… named first team all-state and all-metro as a senior… ranked as the 11^th best player in high school history… honored on the first team all-state and all-metro teams during junior season.
 
Personal: Born 6/7/94... parents are Darrell and Janice Hinkley… majoring in general studies.
