Prior to Southern - Tupper prepped at Joplin High School wehre he ran track and cross country for former Missouri Southern athlete Dustin Dixon ... A four-time letter winner in cross country and a three time letter winner in track and field, Tupper was a four-time sectional qualifier and one-time state qualifier in cross country, while qualifying twice for sectionals in track and field ... Tupper was a second-team All-Conference pick in cross country as a senior, while earning Academic All-Conference honors all four years ... As a junior he was a first-team All-District selection in cross country ... On the track, Tupper was All-Conference as a sophomore in the 4x800m, the 1600m and the 3200m ... As a junior, he was an All-District and All-Conference honoree, while earning All-Conference honors as a senior ... He was a three-time Academic All-Conference winner in track and field. 

Personal - Tupper is the son of Ray and Tanya Tupper ... He is an education major at Southern.
